Creating jobs in IBM Match 360

You can create a master data configuration job directly in IBM Match 360 with Watson.

To create a master data configuration job in IBM Match 360:

  1. From the Cloud Pak for Data navigation menu, choose Data > Master data to open the IBM Match 360 service.

  2. Complete one of the following master data configuration tasks to create a job:

    • Publish data assets. Publishing data creates the following job types: data-load-vertices and data-load-edges.
    • Run matching. The matching process creates the following job types: match-bulkderiver, match-bulkmatcher, data-sync-entities, and match-bulkreporter.
    • Generate a pair review. Generating pairs creates the match-bulkpairscorer job type.
    • Customize and tune your matching algorithm. Changing matching thresholds creates the weight-tuning job type.
    • Delete data. Deleting data creates the data-bulk-delete job type.
    • Export data. Exporting data creates the export job type.

For more information about these master data configuration tasks, see Configuring master data in IBM Match 360 with Watson.

Master data configuration (Master Data Management) jobs are listed under Jobs in your project.
