A relationship chart is useful for determining how variables relate to each
other.
Creating a simple relationship chart
- In the Chart Type section, click the Relationship
icon.
The canvas updates to display a relational chart template.
- Select at least two variables as Columns variables.Note: Click Add another column to include more column variables.
- Click the Save visualization in the project control. Select Create a new asset or Append to existing asset. Provide a Visualization asset name, an optional description, and a chart name.
- Click Apply to save the visualization to the project. The new visualization asset is now available on the Assets tab.
Options
- Columns
- Lists the available variables.
- Line style
- Controls the line style between related data points.
- Curve
- When selected, curved lines are drawn between related data points.
- Straight
- When selected, straight lines are drawn between related data points.
- Label threshold
- Displays labels for data points whose values exceed the defined value.
- Legend orient
- Sets the chart legend orientation. Available options are Horizontal, Vertical, and Vertical bottom.
- Primary title
- The chart title.
- Subtitle
- The chart subtitle.
- Footnote
- The chart footnote.
